Communication Is Key
“We are amazed and so very excited for our new Trex deck. Deck Masters, LLC is an amazing company to work with. From the initial assessment with Steve to completion of the final product with his crew (Kevin and the others) has been an absolute pleasure.
My wife and I take forever and a day to make any sort of decision, especially a huge decision such as this. Steve came to the house, listened to our vision, processed what we said and built on what we wanted vs what we needed vs what he felt would be the best for us. He was, in my words, “No Nonsense”. He was very matter of fact on the design, the material selection process, the contract, the payment, the delivery, the install, the completion and any follow up needed.
Communication is key and Steve was on point and available to answer any question or concern. We had questions about the material, about the color choice, about the cocktail rail color choice, the lighting and stone underneath. All questions big or small were answered quickly and professionally.
Due to some weather delays our project was pushed back a little. Again, communication of the delay was timely.
Project start day: Kevin and his crew were polite, respectful, easy going and awesome to work with. They really knocked it out of the park. You could hear them working hard but also having a good time doing so. The morale is very high with this group. When there was a question about the stone for underneath, they gave me the time I needed to discuss with my wife our different options. They contacted Steve to make sure he was in the know. Steve contacted us to make sure the decision we were making was the best for us.
Completion day: Steve came by to check out the project and address any issues he may have seen with the project. He worked very closely with Kevin and the crew to make sure everything was to his satisfaction. After that assessment, he discussed with me the final steps to completion. He made sure we were happy with the project and was there to address any of our concerns.
At the end of the day, we absolutely LOVE this deck. I truly believe we love it more because of the work involved and the working relationship with the Deck Masters crew.
